JOURNEY INTO MYTHOLOGY
Once again, Repainted takes us to a new territory with its 2022 collection: a world of enchantment and symbolism opens up before us, where myth and esotericism blend into female protagonists of Summer 2022 themes. In fact, magic appears in all the prints of the collection, witnessing how still vivid and powerful is the link between imagination and history.
ARTEMIDE is the personification of the female warrior. In the collection, she is represented by Jaguars dominating the sun: an emblem of strength for Marseille tarots and courage in classical culture.
PLEIADI According to Greek mythology they are seven sisters, celestial nymphs, turned into stars by gods.This story is rendered in the pattern through the constellations, made of flowers and hearts.
ATLANTIDE The legendary island that is said to have sunk into the abyss in one night. The Sirens and the Tritons, depicted in the print, guard the splendors and the mystery that surrounds the island.
ARMIDA Embodies the archetype of the sorceress and she is portrayed in the pattern through her hands and eyes only.She’s the epitome of a strong, passionate woman, able to dominate natureand emotions. Her myth teaches how determination can magically guide our path.
ECATE: Goddess of magic and deep emotions, ruled over the night and the moon. She is depicted through the flowers of albizia, a plant historically considered sacred as it has many healing principles.
